The Secret’s Out: From Champion Rottweilers to Your Shelves

Northern Raw Feeds wasn't built by a marketing team, it was built by an award-winning dog handler in a Yorkshire kitchen. Fed up with fillers and "faff," our founder began crafting his own raw recipes for his champion Rottweilers. The results were undeniable. When his daycare clients saw the health and energy of his dogs, they didn't just ask for the secret, they demanded it.
We grew from that one kitchen to our own dedicated factory in Scammonden, but the mission hasn't changed. Our founder is still on the floor every day, ensuring every tub of NRF is packed with the same premium, DEFRA-approved proteins that built his reputation.
We’ve ditched the expensive cardboard sleeves and glitzy graphics to put every penny back into the bowl. Now, we’re looking for trade partners who value quality over "fluff" and want to provide their customers with the best raw food in the North.

We don’t just claim to be good; we prove it. As a DEFRA-approved producer, our Scammonden factory operates under the strictest government standards. We aren't interested in cutting corners. Every batch we produce is sourced, processed, and packed in a clinical, hygienic environment that would put most human food prep to shame.
We don't take "clean" for granted. Every week, our samples go to an external lab for rigorous testing (Salmonella and Enterobacteriaceae) with the results sent straight to APHA. Plus, because we follow the law to the letter, every gram of our meat is 100% gland-free. No thyroid issues, no hidden endocrine risks—just safe, honest fuel. If it’s not DEFRA-approved, it’s not in our building.
